FALL 2018

BIG RIVER AT GEORGE MASON CENTER FOR THE ARTS
Stefan will be choreographing this musical adaptation of 
Mark Twain’s timeless story about Huck Finn and his 
friend Jim as they escape to freedom while sharing 
hilarious, suspenseful and heartwarming adventures, all 
told with unforgettable, classically American music by 
Roger Miller. Stefan is thrilled to be working with Helen 
Hayes Award winning director, and Artist-in-Residence, 
Thomas W. Jones on this project!  

Runs October 25-28, 2018 at the 
George Mason Center for the Arts.


VIRGINIA THEATRE ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE  
Stefan is thrilled to return for the 5th annual VTA conference
October 24-28 in Norfolk, VA.

As a VTA Board member and Chair of the College/University
Division, Stefan will be busy with various aspects of the 
conference including moderating various panels and leading 
workshops with students, theatre faculty and professionals.

BACK IN THE CLASSROOM
Stefan returns for a second semester of teaching at George Mason University's School of Theater.  This time he is teaching THR 191 - Musical Theatre Dance Audition Portfolio.

STEFAN TO TEACH AT GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY
Stefan has been invited to join the faculty at George Mason University's School of Theatre, where he will be teaching Movement in Musical Theatre (THR 306) this Spring.

STEFAN RECEIVES TEACHING AWARD!
For the second year in a row, Stefan received the UMUC Professional Achievement Award for his work during 2017! 

AWARDS SEASON HAS BEGUN
Mara Stewart has been nominated for a Broadway World Award for her portrayal of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes. 

THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL
Stefan will be creating choreography and coaching student choreographers for a production of The Addams Family Musical starting in January!  Show opens March 2018!
